If it is restricted , how do you get new people in? Get them to join at the local Newsagent BEFORE they come near a model yacht club? I would have thought that it would happen like it happens around here , you contact the local R/C Laser seller and you get a boat! Now if that is not the way , then you are headed for anachy. This is what the sport needs .... more unregisted boats??

may I suggest you take this problem to GENERAL DISCUSSION, John.

No need for discussion.. I think that is what our Secretary calls Bleating.. Perhaps he could Educate us more... Or better still find out why there are inconsistencies happening throughout Radio Sailing and where there is a complete lack of interest shown to attract some new & fresh blood into the Sport..

This is a mere symptom of a bigger problem.. Having the President in WA, I would have expected better..  Roll Eyes

End of Rant..

Have to say though the R/C Laser still holds some appeal as a One Design.. Just might have to register it in some place like NT or maybe even down your way.. Last count I can legally claim a domicile in most Mainland States..

Cheers

John
