Eight Entries, Five from Qld and three from NSW who made the championship.

Attached are Day 1 Results.

Light conditions early building a little during the morning before finally fading away until racing was abandoned at 1500.
Hoping for better conditions tomorrow.

Well the event has been run and won
.
Difficult light conditions again today with the breeze initially from the south west swinging south and eventually south east making setting courses difficult and a real test of eyesight for skippers as the outer mark for the southerly was directly away from the control position.

The skipper handled the conditions well which was a credit to them.

Local skipper Tom Butler through very consistent sailing throughout the weekend came out a comfortable winner from Phil Page (Central Coast NSW) second just shading out Hervey Bay's Mark Beneke in third.

Stephen Tyler won the PRO's prize.
